Who we are:
SVA On the Go is a service of Seattle Veterinary Associates. Seattle Veterinary Associates (SVA) has four brick and mortar facilities:
What we do:
Seattle Veterinary Associates has been serving the Seattle area for the past 40 years, providing exceptional health care for cats and dogs. We provide extensive services in each of our four facilities, however we have found a growing need to reach out to patients and their people in the comfort of their own homes. SVA On the Go is an extension of our facilities providing nursing care under the direction of our veterinarians. The mobile service was launched in March 2016 with a two-person team. This team is comprised of a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and a veterinary assistant.
How we do it:
SVA On the Go technicians will come to the home and provide therapeutics and lab sample collection to those who have had a physical exam by an SVA veterinarian within the last twelve months. Our medical services are only available to established SVA clients and their pets. However, we are able to provide light grooming services to pets with proof of current rabies vaccination, not established with our group! If you are looking for medical services on the go, please visit one of our four facilities with your pet to establish a relationship with one of our many veterinarians.
Why we do it:
Our mission is to help make life better for people and their pets by providing exemplary preventive health care. We know cats and most dogs would prefer to stay in the comfort of their own home, instead of making multiple trips a year to the veterinary office. Our goal is to make it easy to accomplish the diagnostic and/or therapeutic service recommended by your SVA veterinarian.
We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn more about how to take better care of your pets. Please feel free to browse our website particularly the informational articles. The highest quality veterinary care includes ongoing nutrition and problem prevention, and education. Becoming knowledgeable about preventative pet care is essential to the ongoing success of your pet’s health. If you have any questions, call (206) 475 - 8378 or email us and we will promptly get back to you within one business day Monday through Friday.
